The module serves for the rotation speed detection of a rotating disk via a capacitor microphone. The perceivable rotational speed lies in the range from 10000 to 60000 U/min. With each rotation, an air impulse streams through an air tube to the microphone. The microphone generates an analog voltage depending on the rotation speed of the disk as well as on the air pressure.
The module VE-VE-M-01-SE utilizes the microphone signal to create a signal which can easily be processed, e.g. by integrating the signal or measuring the frequency. The module can be adapted to customer defined specifications.
